Roles and Responsibility

Role: Category Head 

Here is the JD & skill set mapping required,


Job Description: 

  • Devising Range plan & Assortment plan for the season
  • Achieving budgeted revenues, sell throughs
  • Product analysis, promotion planning, corrective action
  • Markdown management, liquidation
  • Driving Auto replenishment module, ensuring timely availability of merchandise at stores
  • Master creation, coordination with principals for orders & deliveries of consignments
  • Work closely with warehouse team ensuing smooth inbound/outbound operations
  • Relationship management with the brand

Desired candidate

Skill set required:

  • Expertise in Buying & Merchandising, preferably in footwear
  • Excellent at MS Excel
  • Team player, able to nurture relationship

 Work ex:

  • 10-15 years of experience
  • Managed buying & merchandising process for at least 100+ stores
  • Exposure to footwear category will be an added advantage
