Description:
The Operations Analyst, Marketing and Digital is responsible for business process analysis, documentation, and aid in the execution of operational and system improvements in the areas of Marketing and Digital Marketing. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Operations and Analytics, but works closely with the Head of Marketing and Web Product Owners as support on various opportunities for improvement, converting data and results into actionable business decisions, while ensuring consistency with company strategies, commitments, and goals.
Level Responsibilities:
• Assessing and documenting existing business processes across Marketing and Digital while identifying opportunities for improvements (both low-hanging fruits and long-term solutions).
• Working with the Web Product Owners to process map user needs and support the implementation, testing, and roll-out of technical solutions for Marketing and Digital to optimize their performance.
• Working with Project Manager and Business Writers in developing and documenting operating policies and procedures across Marketing and Digital departments.
• Training Marketing and Digital on new/improved processes and tools (i.e new Website functionalities, Qliksense BI reports, Asana Project Management, and other supporting digital tools) needed to effectively manage and monitor their projects, goals, and metrics for each role and process.
• Supporting Operations and Web Product Owners with various projects as needed.
Desirable candidate profile:
Should have a valid BI Visa for US
Education:
• Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, Business or Marketing (with focus on operations/process improvement), or related field
Experience:
• At least 1-3 years of previous related experience. Recent college graduates will be considered if they have specific operations or process improvement background along with internship experience.
Computer & Other Skills:
• Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table, Charts/Table Summary, Functions-If, Index, Arrays, etc.), Visio (or other process mapping tools)
• Knowledge of Business Process Management preferred but not required
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage various projects at one time
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
