Roles and Responsibility

MANAGER/SENIOR MANAGER- SALES AND MARKETING

Location: Mumbai

         Manage brand A&P, P&L and deliver profitability for the organization.

         Be “hands on“ and independently lead the brand by working closely with cross functional teams from sales team, finance and operations to achieve brand objectives

         Lead annual forecasting of novelties in collaboration with global brand team and Marketing Manager. Process includes: Performance benchmarking with past launches

         Lead the development and execution of marketing plans, sampling strategy, merchandising updates, promotional activities, and product launches.

         Lead key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of agreed plans and initiatives

         Lead business analytics – consumer profiling, sales analysis, market share analysis & competitor reviews to interpret & strengthen brand strategic plans & objectives

         Forming and executing the right strategic and tactical business plans to drive the e-Commerce business

         Identify areas for business expansion in the channel in line with the overall company strategy

         Retain, build and educate the team to ensure future leaders are built.

 

Requirements

 

         Solid experience in a brand management, beauty category management or similar level marketing role (minimum 6 years)

         Experience in make-up industry an absolute must.

         Excellent in planning with a marketing background, P&L management, handling commercial aspects.

         A strong track record of sales management (achieving sales targets, budget development & tracking and demand forecasting) with excellent understanding of the Retail and/or Consumer Goods industry.

         A strong level of business and commercial acumen, particularly in omnichannel retail and distribution, and a deep understanding of the business’ local market and consumer behavior

         An outstanding communicator who can interact with internally and externally with brand owners, management and colleagues

         Grit, tenacity, and willingness to make things work.
