Roles and Responsibility

 

 

 

The purpose of this role is to manage key accounts and perform business development.

 

Internal stakeholders: PPC, Manufacturing Team, Engineering Team, Finance Team, Plant Quality,  Supply Chain and Logistic, Peers and Colleagues.

External stakeholders: Customers, Transporters other interested parties.

 

?Should have exposure in Sales & Business Development  in Auto Industry (Tier 1s & OEMs)

?Good knowledge of Auto Industry and systems / requirements of domestic auto industry in general

?Should have hands on knowledge of handling Raw Material price increases / decreases.

?Track impact of cost fluctuations (material price movements, other cost increases etc.) on our Sales price and take up with customers accordingly for price corrections.

?Hands on knowledge on basic quality systems & audits e.g. TS / ISO etc.

?To handle domestic / exports key accounts & manage CRM

?Get timely monthly schedules from customers and coordinate with plant to deliver as per customer requirements

?Co-ordination with transporters / logistics / customers and ensure supply chain and in-warding of material at customer?s end as per schedules

?Coordinate with CFT i.e. Engg/ Quality / Logistics / PPC to meet customer expectations

?Business development activities / market updates / competition analysis

?Payment collection

?Work out costing jointly with Engg / Finance & submit quotes

?Forecasting / Preparation monthly sales plan

-         Qualification: - B.E (Mechanical, Production, Automobile) with MBA Preferred but not mandatory.

 

-         Yrs of Exp:         3-4 Exp in Sales in Auto component / Auto Ancillary

 

-         Industry Preference: Automotive

 

-         Job Location:  Thane ( at present) but candidate should be mobile
